Busy Day

Cass Art trip to stock up on supplies, to be honest I spent £30 just to get another free bag. I went for Phthalo Turquoise. Also treated myself to a compass cutter, the virtue of which I couldn't extol enough. My productivity stopped here, apart from the testing out of the compass cutter. Three perfect circles. Beautiful.

Silkscreen booked for tomorrow, am playing around with the idea of a visual saturation, our relation to exposure to such a vast amount of images, McLuhan's idea that our environment is a 'passive wrapping'. It's still in its primitive stages, but at the moment I have been bleaching photographs and looking at the residue it leaves when transferred onto paper. Also the act of destroying a photograph and what its implications may be.

My studio now has mini pegs. I am determined to domesticate my space.
